Design : defining - sensing - defining

Design - a word which stands for the human ability to create alternate realities based on a framework which is already know. This is probably why the act of design can start off with the possibility of defining an end goal. When there is no available framework it would seem that we would call it "create" rather than design. The act of Design makes room for serendipity, it makes room for insight, it welcomes analysis, it accommodates the fact that the values of the designer can impact the process, its end goals could be for ill or for good, it places no limitation on the nature of the end result, it could be a plan, it could be a framework, it could be something which impacts us only through our senses, it could be a place, a thing, anything at all. It would seem in the continuum of action and power it would need to take its place in this fashion..... Revealed realities - Created realities - Designed realities - Analysis - Facts - Information.
